When Should You Schedule Your Newborn Session?
The sweet spot for newborn photography is within the first 5–14 days after your baby arrives. During this window, babies sleep deeply, curl up naturally into adorable poses, and still have that brand-new, squishy look that changes so fast.
I recommend booking your session before your due date — ideally sometime in your second or third trimester. This way, your spot is reserved and we’re ready to go when your little one arrives. Life with a newborn is beautifully chaotic, and the last thing you want to be doing is frantically searching for availability when snuggling your sweet baby.
