IMPORTANT NOTE: Mini Milestone sessions are short and sweet, just like your adorable little one! It is important you arrive with a few minutes to spare, with your baby ready to roll – clean face, well fed, and a fresh diaper. If needed, feel free to arrive a few minutes early to change their outfit in the studio.

WHAT TO WEAR: I will have simple, neutral props set up for your session, so any colors will work! Keeping baby’s clothing COMFORTABLE is key to a happy baby! Avoid collars, as these sweet littles do not have much neck space and a collar will sit too high on their adorable cheeks. Avoid large patterns or logos that distract from the star of the show. Avoid straps which are not snug – we will miss too many precious moments pulling straps back onto shoulders! Avoid shiny fabrics which reflect too much light from the strobe light and distract from the adorable face of your little one. My preference is no shoes – many times, the sole is what we see, which can distract from a sweet outfit. If you plan to have your baby wear anything on their head, be sure it does not shadow their face or make them frustrated, and stays securely in place and will not shadow the light at their eyes. If you have a baby girl and plan to have her wear a dress, I recommend you use a diaper cover but no tights so we can catch those adorable feet.

If you have a birthday baby, feel free to bring a simple birthday prop (no cakes unless artificial like below) like a birthday hat, birthday bib, etc. If your baby is not sitting well just yet, I will use supportive props or have them lying on their back/belly.
