Meeting this upbeat, loving, energetic family was a treat!  The siblings came together in celebration of their new sister with such ease.  Sibling pictures during newborn photoshoots can be a challenge at times, but they are always worth it.  This sweet trio being a piece of cake to photograph together was, well, the icing on the cake of the session!

As you will see from the variety of newborn pictures posted on the blog and in the newborn portrait gallery, my photography style is primarily minimalistic.  It is important to me to have your new baby’s beautiful face and features visible, and the star of the show.  Here is a perfect example of a simple image which captures so many details you will cherish in the years to come.

Your newborn picture gallery will have a few more accessorized poses and images, like this ah-dorable portrait of Carsyn.  Posing new borns with small teddies and lovies is a client favorite, and makes my heart leap a bit.  Is there anything cuter?!?!

Photographers – do you have any US lovie vendors you would like to share?  My preference is for a more subtle lovie face, so as not to distract from baby’s features.  After all, it’s all about baby!  Wish I could recall where I purchased this cute teddy, but I have been enjoying the new lovies sold by Propsly.  They have a great variety of newborn props and accessories.  Would still like to support US vendors when possible!
